I’m working on my beta reader’s critiques. So many. Not to mention my own as I’m reading it on my kindle and working on corrections also. THIS WILL TAKE LONGER THAN IT TOOK TO WRITE. LOL.

It took me six weeks to write. I spent a minimum of an hour a day and up to five hours a day writing. In the six week time I took two days off. I caught a bit of a bug. Rested and went right back to it.

I have to get it to an editor after that is done. I’m on the hunt. If you have suggestions, I’m willing to discuss. Unfortunately, editing costs more than I usually bring in over the first year. At least the ones I’ve gotten quotes from. Sad. I miss my bf, who would edit for me. Yes, I paid her but she was fast, lol. And thorough. Though I know they have to make a living too.

So, I’m setting up a May publishing date. Once the book is finished, I may put it up for preorder, but I’ve seen so many horror stories of Amazon screwing them up, cancelling them for no apparent reason. Ugh. This gives me four months to do the beta reader corrections, edit and set up advertising. AND write the blurb, lol. I’ll be doing that once I send it off to an editor.

Hopefully. I mean, won’t anyone just buy it without a blurb? No? Ah, well. I wouldn’t either, so I’ll have to put in the work!

I’ve got to get breakfast ready, so I’m off. Just remember. Coming in May…
