Another absolutely wonderful book by Susan Mallery! Every time I read a new one I fall in love with Fool’s Gold a little more! This was Felicia and Gideon’ s Story! Gideon was in military and captured and held prisoner and tortured by the enemy, even though out of the military he still has issues with his imprisonment and there for relationships! Felicia is extremely smart and was brought up at a college, her self-esteem isn’t very good when it comes to social interactions because people have always been intimidated by her IQ! Felicia and Gideon had a sexual encounter Four years prior only to meet up in Fool’s Gold Again! Felicia wants a home and family only problem Gideon wants no part of it! They sexual chemistry is sizzling between them so they decide they will date to help Felicia with her social skills!! This book was funny, sweet, and had me in tears at points in times! A great read I highly recommend!
