Edits are underway! I’m immersing myself in them and plan to have them back to my editor by Monday. Yay! However, there are a lot of changes. I’m using a new editor and I don’t know if she is tougher, lol, or it has been so long since I published a book, that edits feel like they will take forever.

Part of it, is I just got my new computer in and I’m on a learning curve. Which I just don’t have the time for! I spent 4 hours on edits yesterday and plan on working all day today and tomorrow. Now, part of the four hours were hunting down and trying to find the file! I did two hours in the morning. Then, did two hours of snow shoveling, because, yeah, we got six to eight inches of snow. Then when I went back to do more edits, I couldn’t find the file! Took me an hour. I was regretting using the new computer for sure! But I did find it finally. So today should go much better.

I thought winter was over! Or at least I’d hoped it was. I can only hope it melts as we leave for Arizona this coming week and are driving our RV back home. I don’t want to shovel around the RV. It’s why it was in Arizona for the winter.

Well, edits are calling me.

This was just the first page. I went through looking for the normal words I repeat, but obviously missed others! I’m liking this edit, while hating it at the same time, lol. This is why I have edits done before publishing.
