
This is just part of my current harvest. I need to get preserving everything. I’ve been freezing items as I go along. Once all my tomatoes are done I’ll be making spaghetti sauce. With the other things growing in my garden I’ll be canning greens also. I also have a bunch of celery so will be making use of my dehydrator you see. I put celery in all my soups and chili so dehydrating seems to be the way to go.
I’ve been back to working on When the Calliope Plays, my horror/thriller. Since I’m totally a pantser with this project, I’m not sure exactly how far along I am. I’m still debating on how the ending will go. I have two different endings in mind, but I’m not sure which one I’ll choose. I’m hoping the path I’m going down in the story will make it clear.
I’ve also been playing with more recipes for my cookbook. This one is years in the making, lol. It will be clear why once I finish it. I’m hoping the photos are easy to set up for printing. That may be the worst part of it once I feel it is complete.
It’s Saturday and our village is having a party with food trucks, games and fireworks. It starts later tonight and hopefully it won’t rain. It’s been a bit spotty this last week. I’m heading out to pick more bounty from my garden, so enjoy the rest of your weekend.
