That means I’m only babysitting in the mornings now to get the kiddo off to school. NOT that she doesn’t come visit us as often as she can. (The advantages of living around the corner, lol.)
So, I’m determined to get back to writing on a daily basis. I have been writing, but not consistently. I’m hoping to correct my summertime laziness! The first day of back to school, I got a help call from my son. His car broke down on the way to work so I had to rescue him. Then since he called off work due to this, he helped my change my whole house water filter and dropped off some plants from his yard for me to add to mine. He currently has our car so he could go back and forth to work. (The advantages of being retired, lol. We go nowhere.)
Second day of back to school I go home from getting her off to school to crawl back in bed with the migraine that struck as I walked home.
Can’t wait to see what else happens! Hopefully writing.
Other than that, I’ve a new desk to build for writing. My office has been a mess since we moved in three years ago. I get it cleaned up and then I discover more stuff to go through or start another of my hobbies and realize I’ve created another disaster to clean up. I bought a U shaped desk. One side is a book shelf for all my writing books I use and the books I’ve written since they are just laying in a pile right now. The second side will hold my computer and notebooks and the third is for my embroidery sewing machine.
Plus, I’m still framing pictures to put up through the house. Found a ton of baby things from my children’s birth that I had no idea of what to do with, but I didn’t want to get rid of. So I ordered shadow boxes and now I have to put them together. Then the the kids will have a condensed memento of well wishes and hospital tags from when they were born once I pass (hopefully 39 years in the future-I’m aiming for 100). Not to mention stale bubble gum cigars, lol.
Well, back to the grindstone!
