Thank goodness for NaNoWriMo. If it wasn’t for NaNo, I’d probably never write. Bits here and there maybe. But sticking to a schedule just works for me. I’m working on the next book in my dragon series. Everyone of this series has been started during NaNo.
But what is helping is the sprints being sponsored by Dabble. Not sure what that is, but I’m using what they’re doing. I’m probably not going to hit the 50,000 word mark by the end of the month. What with a funeral out of state the first five days, canning spaghetti sauce, hosting Thanksgiving and planning out making fruit leather. Notice most of it has to do with food.
Now, we’ve lived in our house going on four years already. 😯 And yes, it still is full of boxes. Every time we don’t know what to do with something, it ends up here. I’ve had it cleaned up a number of times and then more cr@p miraculously appears. Ugh. Or I do things. Like unbox my embroidery machine that I bought before we moved.
Part of my issue is finding a desk I liked. I built one, but it just didn’t work for me. It’s now something else I have to move or get rid of. I’m leaning toward getting rid of it because of space. So, I found a desk and ordered it. I’ve had it since August and just had no time to build it. Well, my reward for the past week has been building it a bit at a time if I wrote.
Today I finished! The desk, not my book, lol.

This is the random stuff I post on Snapchat, lol. If you’re curious, feel free to follow me. Snapchat: https://www.snapchat.com/add/ovalleba In the summer there are many hammock pics. It is where I like to spend my summertime if I’m not camping or gardening. Or walking and this summer, riding my new eTrike.
I have an ebike and an etrike and I swear, I’d hate to have to go back to riding without power assist. Perhaps it is being older, perhaps I’m just lazy. Either way, I’m in lurve!

This is, of course, pre dragon decals, lol. I’ve decided to start biking to get healthier. As long as the deer on the trail stay away! I attracted their attention the other day and I wasn’t amused. I turned and went back home.

Maybe not the best picture. Okay, not a good pic at all! But in my defense, I was turning my trike around to run away. I figured no one would believe me without proof. There were more deer getting ready to emerge behind this one. My luck it would have been a herd.
So since my beloved green car was sold to someone who didn’t mind the cost to fix it, I decided to get this eTrike instead of a car. I will see how it does in the snow. I don’t mind waiting for the snow, so don’t get any ideas, please, Mother Nature!
There aren’t sprints for writing set up on Saturdays, so I’m going to pretend there is and go write. Have a wonderful weekend.
