Trent Feldor is a Seeker vampire who protects human females from Rogue vampires who would take them as mates. Kellie is a reporter who wants to make the front page of the Adelaide newspaper by finding the Parklands Killer. Instead she stumbles straight into a vampire fight and she is the trophy being fought for.
Kellie has never let anyone into her life since her mother’s death, and isn’t going to let the mysterious Trent get under her skin. As for Trent, he may have found the one woman he could love but he will have to stop Rogue vampires who want to kidnap her, and vampire hunters who want to kill him.
Crystal’s review
Trent Feldor is a Seeker Vampire that kills the vampires that have went rogue. He is in the middle of killing one when he scents a human female and knows he needs to kill the rogue before he gets to her. Trent gets Kellie to spend one whole night with him and he tells her what he is. She knows that he will erase her memories the next morning but she wants to remember him.
Kellie was a little girl when she witnessed the killing of her mother. It has haunted her all her life. She doesn’t let herself trust or get close to anyone. She makes sure she is in control and for some reason she has a job as a reporter. She has been in a relationship with Trent for two months and knows she is falling for him. Only thing is she has had her memories taken away.
I have to say that I loved this book. It was short but don’t let that fool you. I liked the storyline and enjoyed the characters. This book even has some surprises in store for the readers. I have not read a book by this author and I think she is new to writing. If she decides to write more I will make sure that I read them. I hated reaching the last page. This would make a wonderful series if she decides to do that.
