GorsWarriors_MED

Earth is under attack from a threat no one would believe. Aliens known in conspiracy circles as the Reptilians are taking over slowly but surely.

Brandon Jameson knows he needs to get the word out, but to make people listen, he needs proof, hard proof even the most diehard skeptic would have to believe. To get the proof, he must do the unthinkable, break into the home of a human collaborator. What happens if he gets caught? He’ll soon find out life on another planet will be his salvation or his death when he ends up fighting for his very survival in an alien coliseum known as the Pit Arena.

He doesn’t expect to find love in the form of his alien teacher, Hysirn. Can they survive going into the fighting pit long enough to know true love in each other’s arms? Only time will tell…

Excerpt:

My head felt like a thousand elephants tap-danced on it. Blinding light hit my eyes to make them burn.
“It’s waking up,” a hissing voice said in an accent I didn’t recognize at first. Lifting my throbbing head, I could feel they’d strapped my naked body into a steel chair, though the light kept me from seeing much of anything.
“Good, I want to know who he is and why he was in our ally’s home,” a second voice said, a definite hiss in the accent. As my head cleared I finally recognized what I heard. The accent came from the alien invaders. I’d overheard conversations between them and their human collaborators on a couple of occasions. I’d been captured, which meant I was in shit up to my chin.
“We have questions for you, human,” a deep voice hissed, a scaly hand running over my bare chest. “This can be painful or not, as you see fit to make it. Who are you?”
“Screw you, lizard,” I growled in open defiance. “I’m not going to tell you anything.”
“We’ll see about that, you filthy mammal,” it hissed. He clamped some sort of metal band around my head and a shot of agony went through my mind. Gritting my teeth, I refused to cry out.
“Who are you?” the voice demanded, as another shot of pain went through my head. My body jerked but I remained silent. “Answer the question…” Another flash of pain worse than the one before made my body jolt again. “Answer the question… Who are you?”
“Screw you,” I growled, remembering the time in Iraq when I’d been captured. Their interrogation techniques involved torture, too, though theirs had left me with some interesting scars. The agony went through my head again, worse than the stab before. The alien demanded to know who I was, followed by a surge of energy. Each time was more intense than the time before till I gave a scream of pure torment. My body strained against the straps holding me down before going completely limp. My head hung down as I prayed I’d black out.
“Answer the question, human,” the voice demanded, raking its claws across my chest and leaving bloody tracks.
“Screw you,” I groaned, thinking I didn’t know how much more pain I could take. The time in Iraq had spread it over my body but these bastards were concentrating on my head. This questioning made what happened there seem like gentle caresses.
“The next shock may kill the creature, Lord T`kor,” a second voice said. The idea I’d lasted long enough to get to a point when their torture might kill me amused me a little bit. Silence came over the room broken up only by my desperate pants.
“I was trying to be gentle, human,” the deep voice said, the hand moving down to my firm abs. “I guess I’m going to have to destroy your mind to get the information I want.” He turned to the others. “Drain its mind…”
I wondered what it meant by ‘drain,’ but then inconceivable pain gripped my head. Memories and thoughts flew away faster and faster till a black void filled my mind, sending me into unconsciousness.
