This will be my last post before Christmas so I am giving you my Christmas greetings now!

I don’t wish to offend anyone, so whatever Holiday you celebrate, I wish all the joys of the season.

I have one daughter who celebrates Yule. so Merry Yule, Happy Chanukah, Joyous Kwanza and anyone else I’m forgetting, enjoy your Holiday’s too!

All my shopping is done (I love the internet!) My packages are wrapped and waiting for the children to tear into them, and you know we are all children at heart.

The tree is trimmed and the stockings are hung. We have a lot to celebrate this year. We will all be together as a family and it may be for the last time in a while. My mother’s health is fragile and we don’t know if she will be with us next year, My younger daughter is graduating college and may not get a job near home and my son will be a senior in college next year. He goes on his first mission trip this summer, to Brazil. The first of many as he plans to be a missionary, so who knows where he will find himself in the world on Christmas’ to come.

So, I find myself reflecting a lot this year… reflecting on each tradition. On the ornaments we’ve collected over the years, the special ones my children and grandchildren made, the ones we have collected in our travels, and that commemorate events or years… and people we have lost. The joy I find in baking cookies with my grandchildren and making projects. wrapping the presents, just so. And Christmas Carols!

I am one of those strange ducks that LOVES Christmas music! So, to end my Christmas post to you, I’ll share one of my favorites( or two)
