“Are you still standing there? Unless you’re going to recreate the burning bush with the chest of drawers and a lighter, I think you should come to bed. I don’t think He’ll mind if you sleep on it.” Her voice was sleepy and soft and his body tightened.
“Persephone.” Even he heard the rough need in his voice.
“What?” she murmured, opening her eyes and turning to face him.
He said nothing as her gaze caught sight of his erection, jutting proudly from his body and he watched the as the softness of her eyes glittered and hardened in carnal appreciation.
The moist pinkness of her lips parted on a breath, and the unconscious action sent a dark satisfaction barreling through him. There were no more words, no entreaties, no questions between them. Persephone pulled back the cover in one swift flourish of invitation. He gave a feral growl of triumph and descended upon her.
Want and need clashed together in one hard motion as his mouth found hers. He pressed her back into the pillows, his lips moving hotly over her face, only breaking long enough to strip her naked.
“I want to feel you,” he murmured, savoring her soft hiss of pleasure at his touch. Lucius buried his face in her neck, kissing and biting his way up the slender column. Her arms shot around his back and her palms skittered over his wings, bringing them burning to life in exquisite agony.
She writhed beneath his hands as he explored, groaning in male approval. Yes. This was how he wanted her. Hot. Ready. His.
Six angels once sat at the right hand of The Almighty, but an ill-fated decision cast them out of Heaven. Now they serve Him on Earth, slaying demons for their redemption. They are…The Fallen.
“Remember, angel, all ways in the end return to Me.”
Coriander Rhodes finds things. The intrepid little archaeologist sniffs out relics buried for eternity with the determination of a bloodhound and the arrogance of the devil. Her brash nature and bold tongue keep the big angel on his toes, inflaming and infuriating him at the same time.
When danger strikes at the heart of the angels’ inner circle, Jude discovers he is faced with a task far greater than he has ever known. The light must be protected at all costs, in all of its forms. The ultimate evil has a plan, and with the most innocent among them at stake, Jude knows he’ll finally have to face his sins and meet the pain in his soul dead on. Coriander’s touch is the only thing that soothes, but is it enough to make him whole? Can she help him work through the pain long enough to remember his faith, or will he be forever…fallen?
