Cassie has a wonderful weekend with Chad. They meet at a club, and she takes him home with her and keeps him all weekend, where they fall in love and get engaged. On Monday morning, he kisses her and promised that he would call.

A year later, Cassie is in financial straits, so she gets a heredity test to find Chad, using her son’s DNA. She was looking for child support, but she finds out that Chad has passed away, but his family is eager to meet her son. They beg her to move in with them. She agrees to spend Christmas with them until she can figure out what to do.

Cassie is suddenly living with Chad’s family on a potato farm in Idaho. They are so sweet to her, and they aren’t judging her. In fact, they believe that God brought Cassie and her baby together to give them a piece of Chad.

Cassie is liked by everyone except Chad’s older brother, Nate, who sees her as a freeloader. Nate takes every chance he can to point out her mistakes and spank her for them.

At first, she hates him, but the burn he gives her hind cheeks is also making her burn elsewhere.
