Camilla’s deal breakers make finding a man to fit her wants, needs, and desires darn near impossible. For years she’s been primped and primed to be the perfect political daughter, when all she really wants to do is let loose without her world collapsing. When a friend sends her Madam Eve’s way, she grabs the opportunity to explore without being outed to the conservative watchdogs.
Jonah Black’s career is heading for a change. His friends have dubbed him married to the military, and he can’t deny that his focus has been off center. While they enjoy the pleasures of life and wives, he has nothing to come home to. When offered the chance for a 1NS, he signs up, unprepared for the exotic woman whose sweet exterior masks enticing sexuality.
Sensory depravation and the natural freedom of anonymity launch unexpected sexual desires. Madame Eve’s only request–Enjoy the sweetness of life and let the chips fall where they may–leaves this couple eager for an eye-opening experience that breaks all the rules.
Excerpt:
The flames licking inside her were too much to take, along with his roaming hand. She leaned forward and grasped the chilled wine goblet as a lifeline. When he nudged her lips to take a second taste, she pressed them together, holding her finger up and then laughing because he couldn’t see it in the dark. She took a long cool sip, more from Jonah’s effect on her than the food. She licked her lips then tucked herself against him, momentarily satisfied.
“Better?
“Mmm.” Cam sighed. “When’s it your turn? I’m having all the fun.”
“I’m having a good time feeding you.”
“You’re not hungry?” In the dark, his heart pounded against her cheek. “I’m hungry, all right. Ravenous, even.” Jonah caressed her thigh. Cam had no doubt his eyes would scorch her to her very soul. His lazy trail along her skin left her smoldering in need. She let him ply her with another skewer to distract from the throb at the apex of her thighs. She sucked a piece of pineapple he held between his fingers. Juices trickled down her chin. He mopped the stream of liquid with the pad of his thumb and nosily sucked it off. Holy bananas, she wanted a taste of him now. Her mind kept rewinding to the feel of his finger parting her lips.
“I uh…need to use the ladies’ room.” Cam pressed the button on the table for assistance and slid off of Jonah’s lap and into her seat. Seconds later, her guide assisted her out of her chair and slid it back in.
“Here we go, Ms. Knox.”
She stepped awkwardly away from the table. Along the way, she heard soft sighs and giggles. Definitely some hard-core kissing action. The idea of giving in to the dark side and making out in public heightened her ardor. A loud bang startled her. She jumped, almost losing Cesaire’s grasp.
“Don’t worry Ms. Knox. Almost there.” A few more steps and he ushered her into a space where dim lighting burned her dilated pupils for a moment before her eyes adjusted. He sat on a lounge chair between two doors marked Men and Women. The dim glow brought her normal self-conscious thoughts raging forward. In the dark Jonah couldn’t see her physical flaws. Would that change once he saw the real her?

Beverly and Tamara: Welcome to SSLY. Thanks so much for joining us today. So first why don’t you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Mahalia Levey. I have been writing as long as I can remember, but only published since 2010.
Tamara: What do you HAVE to have when you are writing?
Twizzlers, a bottle of water, headphones and my playlist. Seize The Day is the first song I listen to, to get in the zone!
Beverly: When did you start to write, who influenced you?
When I was a teen I had some bay watch fan fic. I just wanted to write back then. No one influenced me but now a host of authors are daily influences. Kate Douglas, Dakota Cassidy, Shalya Black, Elle James, Delilah Devlin and so many more.
Tamara: What do you think are the qualities that make up a “hero”?
Loyalty. Integrity. Honor. And flaws. I love a flawed hero because flaws build character.
Beverly: Can you describe your favorite character? And which of your books is he/she in? How do you come up with your characters?
I have so many of them. I think my fav is Sin from Not Since You. Characters just come to me lol. No specific rhyme or reason.
Tamara: What are the hardest scenes for you to write? Suspense? Sex? Dialogue? And why?
Action is hard for me. People say they can’t tell but I struggle with action scenes.
Beverly: What is your favorite scene in your favorite book?
I wouldn’t be able to pick one out. There are so many!
Tamara: Who would you choose as your “book boyfriend/girlfriend”? From what book? Author?
Acheron from all of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter novels.
Beverly: What is the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done? Or would like to? What? We are all about the love!
I’m pretty kinky. Probably participating in a wild foursome in my younger days.
Tamara: What are your favorite types of heroines? Do you like the damsel in distress who needs saving or the kick-ass variety? Why?
I like a strong heroine who needs help and also damsels who are not too stupid to live 😛
Beverly: What was your worst date ever?
I went on this three day vacation with a guy I’d dated for three months but hadn’t had sex with yet. He was fun and sweet and totally hot. But when it came down to time to be intimate. His equipment was really small. And I would like to say that doesn’t matter but it does. I’m talking wand of lipgloss small fully erect. That was the end of our dating relationship.
Tamara: If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? (You have food, water, shelter, all the necessities, so nothing mundane)
I’d need two very attractive men to keep me occupied all hours of the day and an endless supply of condoms.
Beverly: What is your “guilty pleasure”?
It used to be chocolate. I can’t have that anymore. So Twizzlers and carrotcake.
Tamara: What dream or goals have you yet to realize?
I don’t know. I’ve been an exotic dancer, a therapist, have two college degrees I don’t use and now I write. I may want to do some other things in life and I have a lot more time to figure that out so I’m just waiting for another inspiration to hit.
Beverly: What was your most embarrassing moment or the craziest thing you’ve done? C’mon dish!
When my brothers came into the club I was stripping at. I hadn’t told them I was a dancer and it was not pretty. A lot of fists flying and being carted out of the club.
Tamara: If you were a color what would you be and why?
Yellow because every boyfriend or lover says my smile is like a fresh ray of sunshine. Cheesy but I have to go with what the masses say.
Beverly: How do you know you’re in love?
That’s hard for me. I come from an emotionless family, a parent who was only a parent when it suited her. I never could tell the difference between lust and love. I guess its when someone accepts you and loves you even through your worst who doesn’t leave when shit gets hard or when you try to push them away. When 17 yrs later you still get butterflies and when your love picks you up from work you still smile at just seeing them.
Tamara and Beverly: Okay. We are SSLY so we have to ask. Who loves you?
My bestfriend of 17 years now my fiancé. He is fabulous most of the time.
Now for some quick fun questions:

About The Author:
Being smart and sassy with a great sense of humor comes easily for Mahalia Levey. An avid reader of books, she found herself enchanted with disappearing completely into the worlds authors created. One day she vowed to herself she’d be one of them. Then family life came, and college right after. Swayed from her childhood course of action, it took many years for her to get back to that place she held dear as a child. Now she is running full steam ahead to keep up with the many ideas flowing freely. She plans on taking her work to higher levels and expanding her genres. Her main focus is giving her readers variety. Her works in progress include paranormal, fantasy and mainstream romance. In her personal life, she vowed never to own a minivan and has so far succeeded in not being the soccer mom. The proud mother of one teen and two pre-teens is not easily flustered. Between sports and art classes for the eldest, she takes time out during the day for herself. Her one love, best friend of twelve years has finally caught her. They bought their first house together and are compromising over interior decorations.
