When the Fur Flies
by Kelleia Ashley
Allison Carver is a Witch fighting to survive a Vampire Elder’s lust for revenge, a High Priest’s evil plan, and an Alpha Wolf, whose touch she craves more than air. A cat has only so many lives…
Allison Carver is a Witch on a mission to save humanity from the two species of immortals who prey upon them. A Witch accused of abduction, mated to a Wolf, and the focus of a High Priest’s revenge, Allison can only pray she has enough cat lives left to get her through.
Wolf Alpha, Reginald Leclair, didn’t intend on letting his pack members force him to take a mate, but when a sexy Witch stepped into his path for the second time, his Wolf didn’t care that the Witch turned into a Kitten with claws. A Kitten whose innate curiosity and knack for getting into trouble, just might be the straw that broke the Wolf’s back.
In a world where immortals are bound by the Tri-Species Treaty, there is little hope for a happy ending between a Wolven and a Witch, unless the Sisters of Fate take a stand.

Cara’s Review:
Who doesn’t want an Alpha? Some virile, powerful male- who’s only desire is you. Sigh. Reginald is all tha t- he is extremely protective and overbearing; bear with him, he and Allison come to a happy middle ground by the end of this book.
So, in this para-world, vampires, witches, and shifters exist; they keep themselves hidden as they were almost wiped out the last time their existence was known. They have a peace keeping treaty, and tempers get hot when Allison manages to tick everyone off! When she meets up with Reginald, sparks fly – and you better have a cold drink handy to cool off with!
Allison’s cousin, Alexa, is a strong woman in her own right; the Keeper of the Treaty. Apparently, she was all sorts of tortured to ensure she has what it takes to be the Keeper. It looks like we’ll have her story next, and I for one, can’t wait!
Bottom line: I would recommend this book to any looking for a book with an uber-alpha male. Again, don’t pull your hair out over his overbearing-ness; I assure you, Reginald and Allison come to a compromise!
