Flavor of the Month – Bianca Sarble
When the idea of an anthology with the theme of food and sex was floated around, I immediately got to writing. After all, it involves two of my favourite things.
Writing and food of course!
I love cooking and baking nearly as much as I love tasting the flavours I create. I think I get more excited about my kid’s birthday parties because I get to create the cakes! I’ve tried everything from Barbie cakes, Thomas the Tank Engine cakes and numbers 1 through 5. My buttercream has a small cult following, but that’s not my signature foodie item.
One of my favourite things to cook is simply called The Chicken Dish and was handed down to me from my mother.
1 x BBQ Chicken
2-3 cups of broccoli (Depending on how much you like it!)
1 carton of sour cream
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 tsp Curry Powder
Cheese to top
Break the chicken up, and put it in an oven baking dish with the blanched broccoli. Mix together the soup, sour cream and curry powder and pour over the chicken and broccoli. Top with the cheese and bake until golden. Serve with noodles and enjoy!
