I canceled my first and hopefully my only book signing this year. I was planning on attending Dreaming Dirty in Michigan on April 10 but my second dose of the covid vaccine is due on April 8. I was planning on driving the 8 hours up to Ann Arbor MI on April 9. From the nurses I’ve talked to and my family members who have had the shot, the next couple of days after the vaccine can be a bit of a trial. At least with the Moderna shot and that is the one I received. Supposedly it seems to be a bit of a hereditary thing. I’m not sure. Some people have no adverse reactions at all.

I just know that since I have plans, I can almost guarantee they’ll go south, lol. So since I wanted the vaccine and received the first one, the dates to get the second on time are a necessity. If I’d have realized that, I would have waited until next week! Then it would have all been good. But I miscalculated.

I’m still attending Wild Deadwood Reads in Deadwood SD on June 19, 2021, Writers on the River in Peoria IL on July 17, 2021, Mayhem in the Midwest in Middleton WI on August 14, 2021, and Romance Rendezvous in Cedar Falls IA on August 21, 2021.

I would love to see all of you there! Even though not EVERYONE can come. I know this. I just wish to give everyone a big hug. As introverted as I can be, I’ve missed my book people. So, so much. So, if you can, join the fun!
