Well, the granddaughter is turning eight! Hard to believe. We’ve lived in our new house for two and a half years. I still kill plenty of garden plants. And the writing itch is rearing it’s head again. I just need to listen and do it. Before I retired, I scheduled my whole day and it worked. This retirement is making me lazy, lol.
The weather is lovely, lately, in the 80’s. Just how I like it. I think I may have been a lizard in a previous life. I’d happily spend my days outside from late Spring to late Autumn. I putter in my garden, spend more time in my hammock than I’ll admit to, and just sit back and enjoy this time of year.
I’ll be dragging my computer outside to write. I can feel it, lol. I did that a lot last year. But not very consistently. I didn’t sign up for any book signings this year and I may confine my signings to just one in Iowa next year. Maybe Peoria, but it remains to be seen if I’ll go as a reader to just hang with my pals, or go as a writer to sell books. I’m not going this year. AS OF YET. I may break down and go. We’ll see. Not seeing any of my book buddies this year makes me so, so, sad. My own fault, lol. But still.

Here’s a random picture from one trip to Arizona. I dunno, but it looks like the cactus is giving my the finger…
Have a great weekend!
