I want you to know, we only got snow this week. Snow that stayed, that is. I’ve been outside shoveling and snowblowing today. And Tuesday. And Thursday. And Friday. I’ll be doing it again later today.

This is the table in my backyard. This is the snow from Tuesday thru Friday morning. I shoveled on Thursday. Friday morning there were 6-7 inches back on the ground. I measured it, lol.

By the time I brought out the plow, there were 10-11 inches to snowblow. Even the trees were tired of it.

I would have to say, winter is finally here! Now, if this was all the snow we got for the whole winter I’d be happy. Unfortunately, I don’t believe that will be the case. If it keeps up like this, I doubt I’ll be able to bring my RV home in early April. I guess I’ll see.
Between the snow, watching the granddaughter since school has been closed twice this week, I did manage to keep up working on Waking Tamara. I’m going over my draft for the forth time, lol. I’m still waiting on two beta readers. I should have it back by the end of next week from them both.
I’m trying a unique, for me, way to go over it. I downloaded onto my kindle and I’m highlighting and making notes for corrections, then going back to my word doc and fixing it. It may seem like a lot of extra work, but I’m catching things I missed just reading it on my computer. So many things…
I’ve decided on a release date of May 4th. A long way away, but I’m still hunting editors. I’ve been in contact with a couple and will decide in February. Not an easy thing! The ones I’ve contacted are all good. I just have to find the best fit.
So, time to move more snow. If it has stopped yet. The forecast keeps changing. Just like the weather! Hope your day is cozy and relaxing.
