SSLY Review
Complicated was an extremely good book but not book that you could read as a stand alone. You really need to read Conflicted first then Complicated second, because Complicated is a continuation of Conflicted. I started with Complicated as was extremely confused once I backed up and read both together I was hooked from page one.I just loved Mia, She was truly a selfless human being, she put everyone else before herself but had been through hell and back twice and was still going forward, not bitter but trying to help others.

I thought Ethan and Mia were really good for each other, he really got Mia to open up and fight her demons. I think I have a new book boyfriend, he was sexy, caring, protective, supportive, thoughtful, charming, over the top, very alpha, smart, romantic and a good friend.

This book definitely kept you on the edge of your seat, you never knew what was going to happen next. There was twists and turns I never saw coming but there were scenes that were sweet as well as hot and steamy. I can’t wait for the next book to come out I am dying to know what happens next. This book I would definitely recommend!

Allyson’s Review:

What an absolutely wonderful book. I have laughed, cried, wanted to beat Olivia’ s Husband. Jennifer Theriot has a way of writing that makes you feel like you are there. Every Emotion the characters have you feel. This was a wonderfully written book.

After 30 years of marriage Olivia’ s life was turned upside down. Luckily she had a wonderful support system that kept her from completely coming undone. My Heart broke for her because she was the type of person everyone should strive to be like. She had a heart of gold and truly loved unconditionally. Even after having her heart stomped on she still loved whole heartedly and was so forgiving.

Once Ash came into her life, he was her rock. Ash was definitely an alpha male but charming, thoughtful, loving, supportive, respectful, fun as well as extremely protective. Ash wasn’t as easily won over, but once he let someone in he would fight for you till the end.

I could go on and on about this Series and its characters. It was really an excellent read and definitely a book that I would recommend.

Allyson’s Review:

I just love this Series. I have laughed, cried, this family just grabs your heart. I was hooked from page one and had a hard time putting this book. I really hated to see it end.

Olivia was one of my favorite characters. She was so real and easy to relate too. She loved unconditionally, and not just immediate family but her friends, step-children, really anybody she came in contact with. She was so caring, kind, compassionate, thoughtful, supportive, understanding, really she had a heart of gold.

In this book, Olivia is finally divorced from her lying, cheating husband of 30 years and has moved on, starting a life with her future husband Ash. Olivia has 3 grown kids and Ash does as well. She treats all 6 like they are hers, she is not only a mother to them but a mother/friend to their friends, girlfriends, husbands. Really there are all like one big family, blood or not.

Ash’ s son, Tommy is part of a band but even those men are part of a rock band, they all were charming, sexy, caring, protective, supportive, loyal. In this book we get to see more of Todd which I loved. I instantly fell in love with him, I mean really what’s not to love. Todd and Tommy are best friends as well as rock band members. Todd’s sense of humor had me laughing out loud throughout the entire book.

This book has it trials that the entire family has to go through but it has its ups as well. Which is one of the reasons it’s so easy to relate too. Nobody in either book is perfect, they make mistakes, life happens but how they rally together touches your heart. This is easily a series I could read over and over and one I highly recommend!

#Review ~ Home to Me ~ Ruth Cardello

Home to Me

by Ruth Cardello

Nick Andrade:
Sexy, charming, bad boy. He’s never been a one woman man, but he’s willing to give it a try every Saturday with Rena.

Rena Sander:
Confident, caring, a woman who plays by the rules. She’s never been in love, and thinks keeping sex with Nick contained to one day a week will protect her heart.

He’s the hot fantasy she’s always craved.
She’s the only woman he’d consider reforming for.

When their relationship is exposed and they must defend it, will these two lovers discover that home is in each other’s arms?

Available at Amazon

Allyson’s Review:

I absolutely love all of Ruth Cardello’ s books! Every time she writes she captures your full attention and makes it impossible to put down. Home to Me was no exception. The reader goes through numerous emotions and by page 2 I was laughing out loud.
This was Nick’ s and Rena’ s Story. Nick was the playboy brother who didn’t take anything seriously except having fun. Hidden underneath his playboy ways was a kind, smart, intelligent, thoughtful and a protective person with a great heart. He was still sexy and adventurous either way. Nick realized that there was more to life than drinking and partying. But by coming to that decision proved not to be an easy road, truths were revealed, people were hurt! Making it difficult for Nick and Rena to weather the storm.
Rena lived her life to please others not herself. Finding herself while Nick is finding himself has the potential to lead to trouble, not to mention family issues as well as nobody wants them together!
This book will definitely grab your attention and keep you turning page after to page, only to get to the end to be sad it’s over. This is a book, I highly recommend reading. It was a wonderful read!

NIGHT STORM is the first book in the Bones & Gemstones series.

Available at Amazon

Allyson’s Review:

Tracey Devlyn is one of my favorite historical romance authors. Each book she writes grabs your attention and makes it extremely hard to put down, Night Storm was no exception.
This was Cameron and Charlotte’s Story. I fell in love with Cameron he was most definitely a strong, hard-headed Alpha male but could also be kind, thoughtful, protective, and supportive as well as sexy, and charming. He was also definitely not a man to mess with with.
Charlotte beat all odds for normal standards for women. Once her mother died she took over her parents apothecary shop. She completely turned the business into a profitable business and made a name for herself. She was determined, caring, strong and independent.
Charlotte and Cameron had a romantic past that neither one never quite moved on from. Once their paths cross again the sparks fly but both have to quit being stubborn and hard-headed to accomplish anything including finding a killer.
This book will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time you are reading. It’s a wonderful read I highly recommend.

Allyson’s Review:

Danielle Stewart has done it again. What an absolutely wonderful read! I laughed, cried and had moments I could Strangle Michael’s Mother! This series hooks you from page one and you struggle to put it down. Each book makes you fall in love with the characters more and more.

This was a continuation of Michael and Jules ‘s Story. In this book, we finally meet Michael’s family and get a deeper look into Michael’s past. Wow! Michael has been one of my favorite characters since the beginning, he is charming, thoughtful, protective, caring, supportive and willingly to help anyone in need.

Jules is a character that has you laughing and shaking your head. Her heart is always in the right place but she doesn’t think before she reacts, Trouble should be her middle name.

This is a truly great series! You can easily fall in love with the characters. Just be ready for an array of emotions. Each book will pull on your heartstrings as well as keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for more.

Could a one-night stand with a man in uniform actually be the forever she had been looking for?

Allyson’s Review
The SEALed for You Series is wonderful, sweet Series. This was Boom’ s Story, who was met in Ace in the Hole. Boom is a Navy Seal, who loves his job. He lives and breathes it. When home for his Best Friend, Ace’ s Wedding, he ends up taking Ace’ s sister Wynn home. Little does he know, that his world is about to change.

Boom has you falling in love with him from page one. He is kind supportive, charming, protective, thoughtful, sexy and romantic. When obstacles are thrown at him, your heart breaks for him. Marissa’ s style of writing makes you feel like you are living the book.

Wynn has you cheering for her from page one. She is strong, determined, caring, supportive and loyal. She has a backbone of steel. Her banner in this book kept you laughing but was a character easily admired.

This was an excellent Military Romance. It was a short but good read. The characters as well as the storyline flowed nicely. There was always a clear sense of place. Basically, A book that would be easy to recommend.
