Witches, and wizards and warlocks, from Davis Copperfield to the Witches of Eastwick I love the magical menagerie.
Here are a few Magic themed books you may not know.
Eight brothers, born in four sets of twins, two years apart to the day-they fulfill the Curse of Eight Prophecy. To avoid tempting their destiny, the brothers are exiled to Nightfall Island, a land where women are strictly forbidden. But, when the youngest of the mage-brothers rescues a woman from another universe, their world is altered forever.
Jean created an amazing world for these brothers. They are all witches, but all have different talents and strengths. There are shifters, a pyrokenetic, Time travel, mystery and deceit. I love this series. My daughter Cat has read it like three times.
Christine Feehan’s The Drake Sisters
Seven Magical sisters have a date with destiny.
The Divinities aren’t just about the witches and magic. It’s about love, family, and protecting those around you. In the back story of the series there’s an old war between witches and demons that never really died. And with a new ruler in the Underworld it is reaching a new level. Each novel tells of the journey of the couple and their place in the war.
The Divinities are witches with special god-like powers. Each possess a Divine gift different from the others. Although two or more can have the same gift, it still is slightly different depending on the witch’s personality and ruling element. The gift can range from visions to shapeshifting. But there is also centuries of mixed bloodlines that split to the Elders’ theories between the Divinities being descendants of the gods and the different magical bloodlines causing the mutant gene that gives them supernatural powers.
In the Mageverse King Arthur and his knights are actually vampires, who are alive and well as forces for good to this day. They live on a magical twin to our universe called the Mageverse, but they make frequent dimensional jumps to our world to help protect us from humanity’s suicidal impulses. Their Partners are the Magi, witches (but don’t call them that, they don’t like it!)
What or who are your “magical” must haves?
