Lucky Leprechaun Giveaway Hop

I can’t resist joining in a St. Patrick’s Day blog hop! I guess that’s the Irish in me. I even have proof, lol. My DNA results came back. So I’m some Irish! (Not to mention a whole lot of others, lol)

I’m curious if anyone else has had it done. Let me know! Did you find any surprises? I had none. NONE. I’m as white as white on rice. A minuscule bit of Asian (less than 1%) and Native American (again less than 1%). More Scandinavian than expected. The Western Europe, not a surprise at all!

I know, not the normal questions for a romance book blog, lol. But it ties in with a story I’ve been slowly researching. It’ll be a few years before I finish it as I’m only researching at the moment. The movement of my ancestors does breath a little more life into it though!

So for my blog treat I’m giving away a $5.00 gift card to your choice of Amazon, Kobo, B&N or Apple.

Just click the rafflecopter link for your options! Visit me on Facebook, follow me on twitter, share a message on twitter and/or leave a blog comment telling me if you’ve done a DNA test and if the results were what you expected (make sure you click that option after leaving a comment!)

  1. I would not volunteer to do a DNA test for “fun” I might consider it for medical reasons, but I don’t trust ancestry websites to protect my private information.

  2. NO, but I bought my aunt a kit for Christmas. She had a few surprises, one being that she is part German. I’m mostly German from my dad’s side, so the thought that there is more on my maternal side… it is a surprise.
