Review:

I enjoy a good Mafia Romance and Mafia Vows didn’t disappoint. The story moved along at a good pace. Lots of steam between Elsa and Seb. A tight knit family, Elsa is a friend of a Theresa, Axel’s new wife, sliding easily into meeting the family, and setting Seb’s sights on her. Desperate to save her child, She gets caught up between her ex and Seb. Twists and turns bring a growing love into bloom.

Overall, I enjoyed reading Mafia Vows. It has a bit of BDSM, and other than Elsa’s desire to be dominated, talking about going to clubs and Sebastian being a dominant personality, it didn’t really feel like a BDSM book to me, even with a minor scene at a BDSM club.

I liked the characters and the overall story line. I will probably grab the next book, lol. And maybe the previous book or books. (I didn’t see what number Mafia Vows is in the storyline.)

My main issue is the portrayal of Elsa’s child as a two year old, but consistently treated as a infant with very little language skills or movement other than being in a play area. It bugged me through the majority of the book.

Other than that, Mafia Vows was a good read.
