From me to you #apeekatmylife

Woo hoo! I finally finished Waking Tamara!

It is out to my beta readers and it looks like I’m going to need a new editor. I’m sad. But, I’ll contact her in late January per her instructions and see if she has any availability.

I’m just so pumped, lol. I wrote daily during NaNoWriMo and continued it through December (except for 2 days-got one of the flash bugs that put me out for a couple of days). Until I finished. I sent Waking Tamara to my beta readers and they’ll get back to me by mid January. I can’t thank those ladies enough!

I’m already working on the changes I’ve got back so far.

After Christmas-because the kids are coming here-I’ll start working on the next one. I’ve already done the first chapter. It will be slower because the corrections and edits on Waking Tamara will take precedence.

Anyhow, I’m done with the wrapping of the gifts, as you can see. I finished enchiladas yesterday. 50 of them! They fit in 9 trays. 8 trays for individual dinners and 1 large tray for Christmas Eve evening. Then I finished a turkey. Got it cooked and in a bit, I’ll start stripping it. We’ll have that for sandwiches and I’ll freeze for dinners for us.

We’re going to do a brunch on Christmas Eve. I’m going to make French toast casserole and an egg bake, sausage, bacon and hash browns. Munch and then open presents. I’ll do the casserole and egg bake today and stick them in the freezer. I’ll pop them in the oven Sunday and air fry the hash browns and cook the meat on the stovetop. All good! Our holiday changes every year! It’s rare we do the same thing twice.

How do you celebrate Christmas?
