From Me to You

Stealing Hope

The apocalypse has come and gone.
Those who survived learned to adapt.
Dragons awaken to once again reign over the skies.

Upon eruption of a volcano, Ari awakens to a changed world, and a knowing that his dragon’s mate is near. He saves her twice—once as a dragon, and again as a man—and wins her confidence.

Hope cried out, moaning, “just change me with pleasure?”

Hope is restless and unfulfilled until she meets Ari, the man of her fantasies. The sensual tension between them heightens with every touch. When their passion explodes, Hope gets pulled into the dragon’s mating ritual…and into a world of erotic sensation she never dreamed existed but now cannot live without. The dragon binds his mate to him with a ritual that shows Hope her true nature in this humorous erotic romance.

Read Stealing Hope before book #2, Finding Faith releases!

Finding Faith is coming mid April 2019!

I’ve purchased the cover and it will be finished in March. I’ve an editor lined up for the end of February. It forces my butt to get moving and finishing it for sure! I’ve a signing in Myrtle Beach SC where I plan on having the first paper back copies available for purchase.

Authors Invade the Beach, Myrtle Beach SC on May 4th!

Once Finding Faith is in edits, I plan on finishing a novella, China Fleet Club that I’ve been playing around with for the past few years. I’ll see what happens after that! It all depends on where my muse takes me.

I’ll be heading around the Midwest this year after Myrtle Beach. Deadwood SD, Omaha NE, Minneapolis MN, Peoria IL, hopefully IA (I’m on the wait list) and Lexington KY. A few more, but I don’t have my planner handy. Hopefully I’ll meet some of you during my travels.

I’m called America’s
sweetheart.
They say I have
the voice of an angel.
I almost gave all
that up, thanks to a traumatic experience at the start of my career. Instead of
letting it define me, I chose to rise above. I showed everyone what a woman on
a mission could accomplish, and now I’m living my dream.
After one chance
meeting, my entire world changes. Austin is every woman’s fantasy, and he wants
me. While the attraction is there for me as well, I don’t need any distractions
right now.

Austin Jones
Focused.
Driven.
I’m the man I am
today because I never let the idea of settling down disrupt being the best I
can during my hockey career.
But then Reese
floats into my life and everything changes, and now all I want to do is pin her
against the boards.
They say
opposites attract. You can’t get more opposite than Country Music’s hottest
female singer and a hockey player from Canada. With competing travel schedules,
our instant attraction appears to be doomed from the start. Can it really be
love? Or is it just a hot ice-melting fling?

Some people are ordained for greatness…
Those people usually have a lot of drama in their life. Drama I happily do without. I live in a forgotten corner of nowhere for a reason: there is safety in anonymity. I have enough problems just trying to get by.

But when Kieran, a sinfully sexy demigod at the pinnacle of power, crashes into my life, suddenly my whole world is turned upside down.

He’s harboring a deadly secret, one that could destroy all he holds dear. He thinks I’m the key to his salvation, and he wants me to help him claim vengeance.

He also wants me with a passion that burns my body from the inside out.

To ignore him is impossible, but to give in to my desires, even for a night, would thrust me into danger I might not survive.

Remember what I said about drama? Now I’m in it up to my eyeballs, and I’m not sure if I should run…or fight.

From Me to You ~ A Dragon’s Fated Heart series

So, after Rise of the Dragons and after Stealing Hope, the dragon saga continues in Finding Faith.

I’m nearing the end, hoping to have it completed before I go back to work next week. Past a couple of beta readers, then off to an editor.

While it is in front of them, I’ll be searching for a cover. Writing the blurb. You know, the hard part!

Faith has taken a couple of journeys to reach the final product, from being a total brat that I couldn’t stand, lol, to a feisty and no holds barred young lady on a mission. I’ve taken so long to finish it because I’ve written it three times!

Finding Faith, which is totally not a religious book by any means will probably end up in Amazon’s religious section, lol. Two of my other books have landed there. I’m sure it is because of their titles. Sorry Amazon! Not sorry.

Here’s a sneak peak of a bit of the beginning of Finding Faith:

Crag leaned over and snagged a little piece of pink cloth from the floor. Clenching his fist, he brought it to his nose. The scent assaulted his nostrils. He breathed deep, the spiciness pervading his lungs. It curled inside of him, clenching his gut. He snapped his eyes open. Crag breathed the scent in again, savoring it. His dick twitched. Lowering his hand, he opened it and gazed down at the delicate panties. The scent assured him they belonged to his mate.

He turned at the gasp behind him. Hope, his brother’s mate looked at him in disgust.

“Is that necessary?”

His lips twitched. “Her scent is strongest in what she wore closest to her body.” He raised his brow, daring her to argue with him.

“Hmpf.” Hope shook her head and gestured for him to leave the room. “Just find my sister.”

Crag shoved the lacy panties in his pocket. He didn’t need them, but he wanted them. Pleased with having something of his mate’s, he quirked a grin at Hope. Patting Hope on the head he turned and left. The growl from her was just a bit of icing on the cake. Crag shook his head as he passed Hope’s grandmother. The twitch of his lips the only sign of his amusement.

Hope you enjoyed!

Alex is left to try to stop the sale, finding a damsel in distress along the way who wraps herself around his heart.

From Me to You ~ Willow’s Cry coming soon

Happy Saturday! We’re heading to another RV show, lol. Burlington RV is having and open house and we are heading over to check out their used RV’s. No way can we afford a new one! Then, we’re meeting our daughter and granddaughter at a dinosaur museum. RAWR!

So, Willow’s Cry is coming out April 7th! If you are going to North Iowa Book Bash, I’m hoping to have it there. I’m working on loading it to Amazon this weekend. (I’m going to be busy, aren’t I?) so it should go up for pre-order shortly after it is approved. But not until my covers done! I gave up trying to do it myself, lol. I’m waiting for the cover artist to finish. She’s working on it this weekend also. Here’s a little preview.

Excerpt

The phone rang, loud and obnoxious in the quiet night. God, he hoped there wasn’t another emergency. Alex stomped in, slamming the door open, tired in every inch of his body. He didn’t even flinch at the loud bang from the door hitting the wall. With his luck he’d be going back out again. The passing storm had downed trees and stranded campers. The last couple of days searching for hikers lost in the storm had every inch of his body aching.

“Hello?”

“Good job finding the hikers.”

He didn’t need accolades. Grunting rather than replying, he placed the phone on speaker. Before he could take a much needed rest, he needed to file his paperwork. Jordan’s call was only an irritant.

“You could at least say thank you.”

“What’d you need?” On the best of days he didn’t like people. Placing his hat onto the table and tossing his coat over the coatrack Alex kicked the chair back from the desk and settled down, wriggling to find comfort in the hard seat. Jordan never called without a reason.

“Just wanted to complement you.”

“Fine, consider it done.” Hanging up the phone before Jordan say another word, Alex reached over and turned his computer on. Booting up a new program his cousin Kane had designed and installed, Alex began to speak and it typed. Thank God. Sometimes his fingers seemed larger than the keyboard. Complaining to Kane about the problem of how long his reports took to do got results. Alex smirked, just like he knew it would.

Alex leaned over, untying his boots. His voice echoing through the empty room. The laces unforgiving, tight with rain and mud. The heat in the room began to sink into his cold tired bones. With the laces loose enough, he pulled them off, spreading his toes in relief. He wrinkled his nose. The smell from the wet leather of his boots and the stink of his feet began to fill the room.

FrOm Me tO yOu! Just a tidbit while I’m editing…

I’m editing today! I’m trying to come to a comfortable solution to writing with the increase in our household. I know, they’ve been here since late March but it takes me time! The girls are both down here with me, so I’m going to see if I can accomplish any editing with them down here.

Wish me luck!

So here is a tidbit. And good heavens if you see an error let me know!

Happy Saturday!

“Just wanted to complement you.”

“Fine, consider it done.” Hanging up the phone before Jordan say another word, Alex reached over and turned his computer on. Despite the cost, he bought a program for his computer to easily help with his reports. Booting up the program, Alex began to speak and it typed. Thank God. Sometimes his fingers seemed larger than the keyboard.

Alex leaned over, untying his boots. His voice echoing through the empty room. The laces unforgiving, tight with rain and mud. The heat in the room began to sink into his cold tired bones. With the laces loose enough, he pulled them off, spreading his toes in relief. With the heater going, the smell from the wet leather of his boots and the stink of his feet began to fill the room.

So, just a picture to let you know what I’d rather be doing, lol. No, we don’t get up to any trouble at book conventions! 😉

Mother Nature, lol MBLU
