Valentine’s Day is supposed to find Love in the Air, I don’t know about you, but where I live the weather has been terrible: Cold, gray, rainy/snowy and I can tell you, I am definitely NOT feeling the love!
So how do you warm up on a cold day? And get the love flowing in the air again? I do it with a good book! You all know I love to read and I have had the pleasure of reading some GREAT books in the last few weeks. I just finished and ARC of A Bet’s Haven, by Carrie Ann Ryan. My review will post on Feb 18 and it is a 5 heart. I also gave 5 hearts to Ann Mayburn’s Blessed (Love this series!) 4 hearts to the Shifter Seduction Boxed set, and I discovered a new to me author Celia Kyle and have been devouring her backlist, with a ton of 5 heart reads!
My BFF, Beverly Ovalle has a new release coming out February 10, A Saint’s Salvation. I got to edit this one and I can tell you it ROCKS!
Corporal Nicholas ‘Saint’ Santiago needs to go home to reclaim the man he used to be. To be the man he was before Operation Enduring Freedom slowly hardened his heart. I love hot and spicy foods. For me, that’s “comfort food”. Whenever it’s cold outside, you’ll find me fixing burritos, nachos, hot soup, or another spicy meal. Of course, snuggling with my “honey bunny” keeps me warm, too. So do all those adorable, stuffed puppies I keep on the bed. 🙂

I love to snuggle up with hubby wearing my onesie while reading a hot book on my kindle.
I love snuggling up on the coach, hockey on the TV, and a cup of hot cocoa in my hand.
Warm up on a cold night, huh? Well, considering I still have holes in my walls, severed pipes (that thankfully lead to an unused sink) and a shower that may or may not freeze over night, I am dealing with the cold daily. But at night… I put my shorty nightgown on the radiator to warm up and when I’m ready for bed, I hurry and put it on and jump under the polar fleece blanket!. During the day on the weekends, I am in warm, comfy clothes with a mug of either homemade Russian Spice tea or hot chocolate with whipped cream sitting in the chair by the living room radiator with my kindle.
I like to curl up on the sofa under a warm quilt and read a smexy book!
Reading Tamara and Bev’s books definitely do it for me. Relaxing and reading someone else’s tale of romance and action makes me one happy, hot camper!
Reading always reading. A Saints Salvation sounds good. I read A Special Kind of Love it was good.
What do I like to do on a cold winter night? Snuggle in my fake lamb’s wool comforter and a hot, steamy book to read. A audio book narrated my Brianna Bronte is good too. That girl really gets into her art. Letting my imagination take hold of me . . . the only thing better would be to change the setting to the Cabin at “our family” lake in Minnesota, I would need a snowmobile though for that trip this time of year.
If I am mad at my hubby then a nice hot bath but if not then snuggling. (wink wink)

I’m looking forward to this St. Valentines day. My kids are going away for the weekend… So that means me & my partner are gonna get food delivered and chill on sofa. He will be happy as I’ll let him have control of the tv remote while I get lost in a steamy romance.
