Blurb:
Whyt has been raised in luxury but craved two things, flight and getting her hands dirty. Her status as a half-swan keeps her from the first, and her mother keeps her from the second. She tries to escape both situations and, as a result, finds life as a test pilot and mechanic.
Styvin Arguat has met Whyt before. He thought she was a shy little ninny. When she breaks out of her family’s home with his help and heads to the research base, he guesses that there may be more to her than even she knows.

Cara’s Review:
While it is not necessary to read Rhoe’s Request to enjoy this book, I would like to recommend you do so, as you will understand some of the characters and the world’s social mores a bit better. Whyt’s Plea is the story of half-swanling, Whyt Beiencar ascent into adulthood, as she breaks free from the life her parents set forth for her (okay, enough fowl jokes). She decides to follow her dreams.
Ms. Grace takes the familiar fairy tales, and weaves them into her own unique brand of Sci-fi Fantasy. Whyt, like most of Ms. Grace’s heroines, is strong, independent, and when push comes to shove, fights for what she wants. Styvin’s character is extremely supportive of Whyt, and helps her attain her dreams. (He’s also pretty yummy)
I enjoyed this book, and would recommend this book to anyone who wants something a little different, a new twist on an old favorite, and enjoys the exploration of new worlds and new cultures. Of course, all of us Viola Grace fans will enjoy this tale, because it’s another classic Grace novella!
