Review ~ Halo by Viola Grace

Aura Speaker Avina is at the top of her field. It is a very small field. Speaking to those who have gone before is a strange talent and she uses it to bring peace and negotiate between the living and the dead.

Utolian left his physical body to wait until he met a woman he wanted to spend the rest of his existence with. Avina’s touch brings him out of his orb on a regular basis, and he looks forward to each and every moment with her.

Now, if only he will stop her from playing with his ball at every opportunity, he might just get somewhere.

Cara’s Review:
As a Paranormal Investigator (aka Ghost Hunter), I was very interested in this book. I know people who can read Aura’s now, as well as claim to be Mediums. I thought that Ms. Grace incorporated some nice “facts” into the book, including the goggles that blocked electromagnetic frequency to stop the auras she sees (that is what we use those cool blinking gadgets to do, look at EMF fields).

That aside, it comes as no surprise that I really enjoyed this book. In an investigation that would have done Josh Gates (Destination Truth) and John Zaffis (Haunted Collector) proud, Aura Speaker Avina Jenkins and the Aura of Utolian sweep a derelict space station, looking for dangerous Auras.

As always, a few of my favorite characters make appearances, or at least honorable mention in the Terran Times novella. I’m sure that followers of the Times will find this to be another enjoyable read. If you haven’t read any of the Terran Times yet, my first question is why not? My second is, read this one! They don’t have to be read in any sort of order, but you’ll want to know the back story of the characters the main characters come across!
A good solid read, I’d strongly recommend this book to pass an afternoon!
