How I became a writer: Well, after reading countless romance novels, and really enjoying them, I just decided to try my hand at it! I’d been a musician and songwriter for my whole life, and thought, “Hmmm….this is a great way to tell a story in more than a four minute song.” And so my first self-published novel, When Lightning Strikes, was born! It combines my love of time-travel, swashbuckling and heated romance in a captivating story that I hope will leave readers turning page after page. In October of 2011, to my joy and surprise (being indie and self published)  it reached #1 Best Seller in Time Travel Romance Amazon Kindle!  After countless requests for a sequel, I released QUICKSILVER MOON  in the fall of 2012. It was nominated for a 2013 RONE Award for Best Time Travel by InD’Tale Magazine and was a finalist in that category. My most current release, SMOKE & MIRRORZ (July 2013), is something a little different for me: an urban fantasy/romance with a sprinkle of suspense/thriller and is a powerful story of love, magic and an ending that will take you by surprise! The most longstanding of my books has been Blood from a Stone, which is a modern-gothic romance sprinkled with a bit of paranormal intrigue and plenty of humor…it is a very heart-felt and powerful story of redemption and the power of the human spirit. It was a 2013 RONE Award Finalist for Best Paranormal and Quarterfinalist in the 2013 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards for Romance.
