Shelly and Fiona met in a group children’s home when they were ten and have been best friends ever since.  Two weeks after the birth of their daughter Emma Grace, Fiona’s husband David dies while fighting in Afghanistan.  Worried about her friend, Shelly moves in with Fiona to help with Emma Grace and to help her friend cope with the devastating loss and grief.

When Kell, an enforcer for Copper Creek Pack and David’s best friend, has to return to Texas, he reaches out to his friend Max for help.  He needs Max to help him keep his promise to David and watch over David’s girls in his absence.  Former Force Recon Marine Max Granger is an alpha lion shifter without a pride.  Max is a loner and prefers to keep it that way.  However, when Kell calls asking for a favor, he can’t say no.  Max could never turn his back on his only friend.  Max agrees to put his loner lifestyle on hold and move to New Orleans in order to watch over a fallen brother in arms’ widow and infant daughter.

When Max agreed to the ‘not so small’ favor, he had no idea it would lead him to his destiny.  A too sweet, too tiny, too shy, too innocent, human mate named Shelly.  Only Fates with a sick sense of humor and twisted logic would pick a sweet, shy virgin for a socially awkward prideless alpha.

Kasey Belle was born and raised in the south, but due to a little storm known as Katrina, currently calls Sin City, NV home.  She lives there with her very own sweet southern boy/high school sweetheart/husband of 25 years.  She is the mother of two grown children and grandmother of a 2 year old fur-baby (cat) named Cosmo aka Princess Fuzzy-butt, Baby Fatterson, and Little Baby Badness.

In August 2015, Kasey fulfilled a lifelong dream and published her first paranormal romance novel, Their Cajun Queen/Copper Creek Pack 1.

Kasey believes that a romance must always contain a strong alpha male or three.  If there is a heroine, she must be strong, snarky, sarcastic, and sassy.  No simpering women need apply.  There is nothing wrong with a heroine in need of rescue, but she also has to be able to stand on her own two feet.

When Kasey isn’t writing she is spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoys dark chocolate, a good Moscato, crafting, ‘geeking it out’ on Photoshop, planning her next tattoo, and reading (she is never without her Kindle).  She freely admits she has a tattoo and book addiction and will not be seeking help.
