Fancy, an uptight researcher, finds herself booked in the same hotel as a romantic book convention and rooming next to the hottest cover model around. While Mitch is drawn to the little scientist, a stalker fan and the FBI have other plans for him.
What happens when Fancy, an uptight researcher, finds herself at a scientific conference sharing space with hundreds of avid romance novel fans and a hunky, big time cover model named Mitch right next door? She bangs on the door and demands the orgy stop at once, of course.
Yet, deep down they sense something in one another which might explain why they keep gravitating toward each other.
Mitch can’t help teasing the innocent and outspoken Fancy even as she lectures him on hotel etiquette and blossoms right before his eyes. Add in his greatest fan with a criminal past that he’s supposed to track down, penis suckers, a risqué photo shoot, a kidnapping, and Cinderella’s ball, and the fun never stops.
In true fairy tale fashion, they fall for one another, but will this particular tale end as the last book closes at the convention?
Cara’s Review
I greatly enjoy Cheyenne Meadows’ wit and absurdity- throw in a fascinating hero/heroine, a romance convention, and mystery, and I’m a goner. The Cover Model is a fun “romp” into the world of Mitch Jameson a sexy lawyer by day, cover model by night attending the Romance Convention and Fancy, a geneticist who crashed right into it. Can you imagine having to attend a genetics (or any job related) conference right next to a romance conference? I doubt I’d get anything done.
There are some fun secondary characters, but the book focuses mainly on Mitch and Fancy as they dance around one another. Mitch is a bit of a dog, as the book starts out with him having sex with someone else- but, it just goes to show you, what a difference the right woman makes. He does redeem himself (several times) and I don’t think he’ll ever stray.
I would recommend this book to those who like stories with humor, romance, and sex (explicit, but not raunchy). This is a modern day fairy tale, with the requisite HAE. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did!

Where can I find this book??? None of the stores posted at Goodreads has it. 😦
I’ve been looking too! I haven’t found it.
It’s available again, ladies. Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Secret Cravings Publishing. It’s back, with some additional scenes and a bit hotter in the heat department!
Woo hoo! Am going to find it now 🙂
