Blurb:
Motorcycle riding, high-powered attorney Alana Stewart is a far cry from the shy, teenager who left Chance determined never to look back. Family obligations force her to return to the town that only holds bad memories for her. A stop at her former sanctuary brings an unexpected surprise…the new manager just might be what she needs to get her through the holidays.

When sexy, leather-clad Alana walks into the bookstore, Connor Tate, has a feeling he may be in for the ride of his life. Despite the fact that their lives are headed in different directions, they are drawn to one another. Connor is determined to prove to Alana that Chance isn’t the place she remembers, but will his efforts fail when she discovers he hasn’t told her the whole truth about himself?

Can they trust each other enough to take a chance on love?

Allyson’s Review:
Coming Home was sweet, heartwarming and touching story. Alana came home to her small town,Chance from a fast-track law career in Austin, Texas. Alana in the beginning came across as selfish, putting her self before others, but was really caring, compassionate, able to admit mistakes, driven, hardworking, and strong. Alana didn’t visit much, but took a two week vacation to be with her parents, sister and niece at Christmas. Alana wasn’t popular in school and figured nobody in town noticed or remembered her.

On her way in to town, she stopped at her favorite book store, only to find Conner running it instead of his dad. Alana didn’t expect for instant attraction or the sparks that were flying. I enjoyed Conner’ s character, he was strong, caring, understanding, brave, quiet, loved wholeheartedly, attentive, supportive. Alana had lots of reasons why a relationship was a bad idea. This was a Fun read, it was funny, sweet, and full of romance. I enjoyed this book and Look forward to more by Misty Matthews.

I was given An ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
