Review- Wary Were- Celia Kyle

warywere

Being a cat isn’t easy. Neither is being a wolf. Being both is damn near impossible, but Christian does his best to cope. Life isn’t made any easier due to the fact that his inner feline is a Rag Doll, and goes limp at the lightest touch.

An innocent night on the town gone awry has Christian on the wrong side of a sexually charged mob of men. Taking some much needed time to lick his wounds, he heads straight to Greer, North Carolina. A sanctuary for shape shifters and the like. He’s welcomed with open arms by the townspeople and with open doors by two of the hottest and sweetest men Christian has ever met. Problem is they’ve already got each other, so why would they need him?

Jarek and Ethan can’t wait to show their new guest exactly why their duo should become a trio. The sooner the better. The question is… Will the evil that’s stalking Christian end the threesome’s chance at a relationship before it even has a chance to begin?

Tamara’s Review

I really enjoyed this MMM menage. Jerek is a growly wolf who is sweet to the the core and Ethan is a Labrador shifter who is all puppy who never seemed to grow up. Ethan was absolutely hilarious, with his runaway mouth and over abundance of energy. I could just see him bouncing around and it made me smile. He was just what the damaged Christian needed to heal, that and the security of a the strong and loving Jerek.

I thought the love scenes were handled well, in dealing with Christian’s past trauma and the two men’s acceptance of his past and insecurities. You don’t often find MM’s that lean to the sweet side, and while Wary Were had some hot love scenes, it was also very sweet.

I love the idea of Geer, a place for misfit shifters to feel safe and secure and look forward to hopefully seeing more of this community in the future.

There was just enough mystery and intrigue in Wary Were to keep the story moving, without taking away from the love story. All in all, a great quick read for a rainy afternoon.

I recieved this book from the author in exchange for an honest review
