Excerpt:
“So what do you have in mind for tonight?” Sabrina couldn’t believe that sultry purr of suggestion and invitation was her voice. Maybe he’d been thinking along the same lines as she and would suggest exactly the thing she’d just been fantasizing about; a girl could always hope. She grabbed her little black clutch purse and closed the door of her apartment and leaned back against it as Roman leaned close, caging her as he placed a hand against the door on either side of her head.

“Oh,” he murmured, trailing his lips along her jaw to her ear, “a little of this, perhaps a little of that.” His warm breath over her ear caused her skin to erupt into goose bumps, and she gave a little gasp as he caught her ear lobe in his teeth to give it a gentle tug. Her eyes drifted shut as his lips continued their foray down her neck, and she arched her head back to give him freer access. Her hands came up to clasp his head, and as his lips made a return foray up her neck, she was able to angle herself until his lips settled over hers, and she was once again drowning in the heat and taste of his kiss. She arched into his body with a murmur of supplication and when she felt him press into her, felt the heat of him branding her so deliciously, she groaned in need.

On and on the kiss went, spinning out of control. Tongues dueled, breaths gasped, hands wandered and touched; voices broke, and needs rose. Once again, Roman’s mouth traveled the long line of her neck, coming to rest on the wild pulse point of her throat. She felt the warm, wet heat of his tongue as it swept across the throbbing point, and just as she would have melted further into him, she felt him pause, almost as if he were trying to decide something important.

And just for a moment- for a brief, insane moment- she felt the impulse to urge him on, to tell him to bite, to taste. An odd, frightening, thrilling, and dark desire swept through her to feel his teeth against her skin, to feel his bite against her flesh, and she fell still as confusion crowded aside the lust she’d just luxuriated in.

Roman felt the change fall over Sabrina, and with a rueful chuckle against her throat and one last sweep of his tongue against her slowing pulse, he managed to take a step back from the warmth of her body. He hadn’t fallen ill, as he had expected to after taking that small taste of her blood earlier in the afternoon, and the temptation to indulge in a long, leisurely tasting of her pounded through him, making his canine teeth ache and grow longer in his mouth, even as his body longed to be buried deep inside her, driving them both to complete surrender as he did so. “Soon” he murmured against her ear, his breath making shivers of fire shoot through her blood as desire rekindled, “Very, very soon.”
Sabrina shivered at the promise in his husky whisper…

Author Bio:
Brenda Tetreault grew up on the southern Oregon coast. All through school she wrote but then put it aside when a school counselor informed her that, while she had a nice little hobby, she would never be good enough at it to pay the bills. After a short stint in the Air Force, during which she met and married her husband, Brenda settled down to be a military wife and the mother of a precocious little boy. She began writing again in her mid-thirties and in 2009 her first book, The Witcher Legacy: Book One of The Bounty Cove Chronicles, was finally published. Today, Brenda is enjoying a small amount of success, and though she’s not yet paying the bills with her writing, she’s looking forward to the day she does.

In 2012 Brenda completed her first paranormal romance series, The Bounty Cove Chronicles. She is currently working on an entirely new series and on September 23, 2013, ‘Tempted’, the first book in The Nightshade Series was released through Kindle Direct Publishing. While she is unsure how many adventures there will be in this new series, Brenda does promise that it will feature all of the fun, adventure, love, steamy sex, and happily ever afters that have been the hallmarks of her writing from the beginning!

Author bio:

Sara Barnard is mother to four beautiful children, daughter to a pair of awesome parents who have become two of her best friends over the years, wife to a handsome Texan, student to her Master’s of Arts in European History classes, and friend to many. Oh, she writes some, too.
Sara began writing in the third grade, but became serious about becoming published after watching Eclipse with her friend, Rochelle. Rochelle mentioned that Ms. Meyer was a housewife with many children, so Sara decided that since she was back home while her husband was deployed, she would put pen to paper and see what happened. Wow. She started writing in 2009 and hasn’t stopped since! This has led to her finding her publisher, 5 Prince Publishing, and her awesome Warrior Princess editor! Her debut novel, A Heart on Hold, was published in 2012 and quickly became a series. Books 2 and 3, A Heart Broken and A Heart at Home, were published in January 2013 and June 2013 respectively, with book 4, A Heart Forever Wild, forthcoming! Book 1, A Heart on Hold, made it to the top three finalists for the best of 2012 American Historical RONE award and became an Amazon bestseller! Book 2, A Heart Broken, appears to be following in the same path. On a different note, set to release in November is Sara’s debut Amish romance novella, Rebekah’s Quilt.Sara writes for kids, too. She independently publishes a line of nonfiction children’s books which includes The ABCs of Texas Plants, The ABCs of Oklahoma Plants, and The Big Bad Wolf Really Isn’t so Big and Bad — all of which have become bestsellers on Amazon in their respective categories. 5 Prince Kids also publishes some of Sara’s fiction works. Chunky Sugars was published in January 2013 and Little Spoon released September 2013.
