Introduce yourself. What book are you from? Are you the hero, heroine, villain?

As you know I don’t do interviews. I’ve decided to talk to you for two reasons. First, I’ve watched other interviews you’ve done and I admire your work. Second, this is the only interview I’ll ever do and I’m hoping it will get the paparazzi off my back. So, as you know, I’m Addison Matthews Ramsey. My mother was a famous Irish singer, Fiona Matthews, and my father was Cooper Matthews. I’m their only daughter and the heroine in TO LOVE AND OBEY. It’s the first book in The Doms of Club Mystique series. It should have been named TO LOVE AND DISOBEY though. ((laughs)) I’m not very good at obeying.

How did you come to your author’s attention?

As much as I hate to admit it I sort of brought this on myself. You see, they say I’m a meddler but I’m not. It’s just that Cooper taught me that information was power so I gather information. Turns out I’m really good at it. The only person I could never get any information on was Cade. Everyone was too afraid to tell me anything about him. He can be intimidating if you get on the wrong side of him. ((giggle)) Well, just about everyone is on Cade’s wrong side, except me. (wink))

Did you give your author a hard time when she was writing your story?

I gather information. I don’t release it unless I’m forced to by Cade. So, I’d say I gave her a hard time. Cade was worse than me so that’s some comfort. He can be a stubborn ass. ((covers hand with mouth)) Don’t print that. I’ll get a spanking. ((covers mouth again)) Don’t print that either.

What do you do for a living?

I own a boutique in Rendezous Texas and I also chair The Addy Foundation for Children. It’s a charity for children my mother began when I was a child. She traveled all over the world, singing. We have branches everywhere. My mother made sure of that. No matter where she sang, she would visit one of them and she said she always felt that in some way I was always with her.

Who is the love of your life?

Cade Ramsey. He’s the oldest of five brothers. His parents died when Cade was eleven. He and his brothers were adopted by Jake and Katherine Ramsey. I met him when I was thirteen years old. He was nineteen. It was love at first sight. At least it was for me. He thought I was a pest and, of course, I was. I followed him and spied on him and anytime he dated anyone I did everything I could to interfere. ((stubborn look on face)) I chose him. He belonged to me and there was no way I was ever going to let him get away.

What was the first thing you noticed about him/her?

((laughter)) Have you seen him? He’s gorgeous. 6’5″, muscular, black hair, intense green eyes, and a wonderful smile. The first thing I noticed about Cade was…Cade. All of him. It was like the world faded away and it was just the two of us. I know I was really young but I knew the moment I saw him that someday we would be together. I just had to grow up, and make sure he didn’t get married before I could. That’s when my career as a meddler began…spying on Cade. ((giggle)) You wouldn’t believe some of the things I did to him.

What’s your greatest fear?

Losing Cade. Nothing else scares me.

What’s your motto in life?

“It’ll be okay. Trust me.” Cade would say that to me everytime someone tried to kidnap me and he had to save me. I would be scared out of my mind and he would hold me and whisper that phrase to me, over and over. So, now, I believe it and I say it because he taught me to believe it.

How do the other characters in your book view you?

I’m friends with Jenna Parnelle, Cassie Edwards and Ravyn Templeton as well as Marisol Rios. Cade loves me. His brothers thought he was too strict where I was concerned and they told him to loosen the reins a little. ((grin)) Now they wish they’d kept their opinions to themselves because I’ve been running wild and I’ve got plans for all of them. Matchmaking plans. I just love a happy ending, don’t you?

What do you think reader will find interesting about you?

I’m always up to something and I usually manage to stay one step ahead of just about everyone but Cade. He’s tough to beat but I try my best to keep him on his toes.

What is the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?

((blushing)) I don’t think I’ve done it yet. I heard rumors that Cade was insatiable but, wow! I mean really I have to hide out some days just to get a moment to myself. ((fans self)) You wouldn’t believe some of the things he’s done with me. ((more blushing and a wiggle)) Is the interview about over? I just remembered something I need to, er, tell Cade.

Will we be seeing you in future books?

Of course. I’m not going to be happy until all of Cade’s friends are in love and married.

What makes you happy?

Cade and my family which includes all of his brothers and my friends. I was an only child so I love having a family.

What makes you mad?

Besides people who keep things from me? People who are mean, especially if they’re mean to my friends. And, of course, people who try to kill me. ((frowns)) I don’t know why so many people want to kill me. ((shruggs)) I don’t really worry about it though. That’s Cade’s job.
