Secret Service agent Vaughn Breckenridge works the Treasury side of his agency. He’s just been told that he’s about to be evaluated for additional training. Sumiko Pierce isn’t at all what he’s expecting. She’s testing for psychic abilities for the mysterious and near mythical Division P. Vaughn knows he’s got an exceptional gut instinct, but he doesn’t want to admit that it might be just a bit more than that. He doesn’t have a clue what is about to hit him.
Sumiko Pierce is rebuilding her life after a devastating car accident left with her with serious injuries, some long-term, others healing slowly. It’s hard enough to get around and do her job in a wheel-chair–even if it’s only for a while. The last thing she needs is a hard-headed Secret Service agent pushing his way into her life in the same way she’s pushing into his head. On the other hand, Vaughn’s really attractive, inside and out.
He’s got the abilities. She’s got the abilities and the skills to teach him how to really start using those gifts. They are each going to have to let down their personal barriers in order to make it work. Will they manage it in time to save her life?

Cara’s Review
It took me forever to get around to reading this book. Why? I didn’t really read the blurb before picking it out, and when I did, I noticed this note: “Publisher’s Note: The Division P series is primarily GLBT in nature. However, this volume contains non-GLBT relationships.”
Well, not all books are for everyone, and GLBT books just aren’t my cup of tea. I didn’t really know what the point of reading this book would be, as I was very unlikely to read any more of the books. HOWEVER!!!!!!
I finally decided to give it a go, so with an open mind, I dived in. And boy am I glad I did. I actually have already picked out a couple of more books by this author that I plan on reading. Lesson learned: just because you tend to shy away from one type of book, doesn’t mean you can’t try something new every once in a while. Even if I decided not to read any more of this series, I’m certainly glad I read “Don’t Fret the Timing.”
Sumika Pierce, the heroine, is out on a recruiting mission for Division P (the rumored secret gov’t agency) to see if Vaughn Breckenridge has the right stuff. She ends up auditioning him for more than just the job. This is super sweet story, with a little adventure, and an introduction to some of the Division P procedures. Some of the world of psy powers are explored- I liked reading the different test Vaughn did, trying to link them to psy abilities I’m aware of.
Vaughn is out of his depth and comfort zone, both with Sumika’s handicap, his psy abilities, and Division P. Yet, he manages to deal with it all, without being a big jerk. Vaughn is not your typical know it all alpha, and not a wimp either- but a sensitive man- heck, he’s an empath, he has to be! Sumika knows her own limitations, but is willing to work around them. She makes no apologies or excuses for what she needs or who she is. I really liked both characters, and hope they appear as secondary characters in some of the other Division P books.
In summation, definitely give this book a read! You won’t be lost if you haven’t read any other books by Moler. It is a good story, with a sweet HAE.
